MHSC has an extremely dedicated group of volunteers. They operate the gift shop and provide assistance in a variety of roles including providing complimentary coffee for the surgical waiting room; delivering flowers and mail to patients; delivering inter-office mail within the hospital; assisting with a variety of clerical duties, including but not limited to, filing publications in the Medical Library.

The volunteers fund and coordinate the Lifeline Program which is an emergency response system for people who are in frail health or who have a disability. They plan and carry out fundraising activities throughout the year to benefits patients of MHSC.

The volunteers are a vital component of the overall quality of care that is delivered by MHSC. Individuals who are interested in becoming a volunteer at MHSC are encouraged to call the Community Partnership Manager, Janae Gale, at 307-352-8418.
