Services: Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County’s Surgical Service Departments consist of the Operating Room, Anesthesiology, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (Recovery Room), Ambulatory Surgery, and Sterile Processing. The services provided by these departments include general surgery, orthopedic and spine surgery, urology, obstetrics and gynecology, anesthesia services including: therapeutic pain management, infusion therapy, endoscopy, and sterile processing.
Memorial Hospital has undergone new and remodel construction. For the Surgical Service departments this provided a new Ambulatory Surgery department with private rooms, a new Post Anesthesia Care Unit, and a remodeled endoscopy suite with an additional minor procedure room for the Operating Room. This enables our caring, professional staff to care for all patients in a spacious, up to date environment, allowing the best quality of care throughout each individual’s entire hospital stay and recovery!
